This is a comprehensive database of nearly 5000 (!) Alfa Romeo scale models that has been kept fully up to date since 1992 (!!) by Fer Akkermans, a Dutch Alfa Romeo enthousiast . The data are listed in a spreadsheet format (Microsoft Excel), avalaible on a 3.5' floppy diskette. It will provide you in an easy way the facility to view and to print the data, add new models, add purchase prices, sort on your own selection and so monitor your personal collection.

"ALFA ROMEO MINIATURA" lists for each year since the 1910 start, the various 1:1 models with relating scale model and toys- manufacturers, ref. numbers, colour, scale, material, country and other specific remarks (in English)

The full model history until now is displayed with eg.: pre-war cars, design/styling prototipo's, sports- and racing cars, formula 1/Indy and rally cars, busses/ trucks/vans, berlina's, GT's and spiders. Reference is made as well to the relevant page in the famous ALFA ROMEO "bible" by the late Luigi Fusi (Tutte le vetture dal 1910-1977) for a description and photographs of the full scale model ALFA ROMEO cars.

Many resources have been consulted over the years to compose and continuously refine this scale model database eg. :

* Italian, Dutch, German, English, French, Spanish scale model magazines.

* Issue lists from many die-cast- and handbuild/kit manufacturers and distributors.

* Various scale model books, many privat collections and internet sites.

* Gijs Jordans' SCARB 'Alfa Romeo in Model' 2nd issue booklet 1985 was the start.
